Open the top cover, remove the spindle from its holder, mount a roll of labels on it, put the spindle back, and thread the roll through a slot in the printer. Setup for the paper-label printer is typical. At 7.2 by 5.5 by 7.8 inches (HWD) the unit has about the same footprint as most individual label printers, although its height and bulk make it more imposing. In addition, because the two printers are arranged with one on top of the other, you even save desktop space. The Duo is essentially a LabelWriter 400 Turbo mounted on top of (and nicely integrated with) what amounts to one of DYMO's LabelManager printers, which print on plastic.Īs with the Twin Turbo, the advantages to getting two printers in one package include cost savings and having only one USB cable and power cord to deal with.
